Ueli Schärli, Dr. sc. Nat. ETHZ, specialist in Geology, Geophysics and Geothermics

Dr. U. Schärli Geology+Geophysics was established by Dr. Ueli Schärli in the year

2000. Dr. Schärli was trained in the specialist areas of Geology and Geophysics at ETH

Zurich, completing his successful thesis in geothermal investigations in Northern Switzerland in 1989.

The company is mainly involved in designing and supporting geothermal

installations and in carrying out hydrogeological investigations. It also

performs geotechnical investigations.

In the laboratory, thermal properties of solid and unconsolidated rocks can be

measured. The company also participates regularly in geothermal research projects.

Dr. U. Schärli is the patent holder for Nimo-T, a wireless borehole temperature sensor.
